우리가 사는 산토 다밍고는 수도라서 그런지 사람도 건물도 많고 교통도 복잡하고, 쓰레기처리가 안되서 어딜가나 지저분하다.  바다는 가깝지만 돌이 많고 쓰레기도 많아 물 근처에는 가지들을 않는다.  한 시간 정도 운전을 하고 가면 정말 아름다운 바다와 해변이 있고 스노클도 할 수 있는 곳들이 있다.  

Santo Domingo is the capital city and with a dense population, many high rises and bad traffic jams with the worst trash problems.  We have ocean front close by but it is rocky and with so much trash and no one goes in to the water.  But only a hour drive away  there are beautiful beaches you can even snorkel.

Here I ordered the biggest fish ever for lunch.  They brought the raw fish to make sure that I actually wanted that big fish... (about a foot and a half in size)
